Terms of Service — PassportPhoto

1. Service Description

PassportPhoto provides an online tool for creating passport and ID photos that conform to official government specifications. We offer browser-based photo processing including background removal, cropping, and format conversion.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. No Guarantee of Acceptance

While we use verified government specifications, we cannot guarantee that your photo will be accepted by any government authority. Final acceptance is at the discretion of the issuing authority. We are not liable for rejected photos.

4. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely via Stripe
Prices are displayed in GBP and include applicable taxes
Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase
Free downloads (watermarked) do not require payment

5. Photo Storage

Photos are stored for the duration specified by your package (0-90 days). After expiry, photos are permanently deleted from our servers. We send email reminders before expiry.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload photos of other people without their consent
Use the service for fraudulent identity documents
Attempt to circumvent payment or access controls
Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

PassportPhoto is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
